We are the Traveling Willsons. My husband, Bill, and I share a passion for travel. We love exploring ancient ruins, museums, scenic landscapes, and beautiful cities. Bill and I have been married for more than 26 years. When we first married, we were just starting out and didn't have much money, but we always made travel a priority. We would travel locally, and make the occasional trip to, what were for us at the time, distant destinations, such as Florida, scrimping and saving every year to make it possible to take trips with our young children. We're from Oklahoma, so some years it would be Red River, perhaps Texas or Florida. Travel isn't necessarily about the distance you go, but seeking out interesting and beautiful locations that speak to your soul.
With time, we've managed to expand our travels. Future posts will focus on trips we've loved, our wish lists for future destinations, and travel tips to hopefully make it easier for our readers to enjoy travel. Stay tuned for more content as we journey together.
